Join us on Wednesday, June 17th at 11am ET / 8am PT for an extensive discussion on mitigating the impact of COVID-19. From 11am-12:30 ET we will host panels focused on the privacy, security, and tech considerations regarding use of digital contact tracing. From 12:30pm-2:00pm ET we will host panels focused on safely reopening the economy, and demo relevant tools designed to help businesses reopen.
The first half of the event will be a forum for stakeholders in state and local government, technology, privacy, healthcare, and civil rights to understand recent developments in contact tracing. The second half will be a discussion on the policies and operational challenges faced by businesses as they plan to reopen.

Mona Sloane is an NYU-based sociologist working on inequality in the context of AI design and policy. At NYU, she helps form NYU’s Alliance for Public Interest Technology, and is Co-Principal Investigator on the COVID-19 Tech Project. Mona also leads the project Terra Incognita: Mapping NYC’s New Digital Public Spaces in the COVID-19 Outbreak.
